Jordan Delaney Sayoc

Speech-Language Pathologist

Jordan is a native of Virginia Beach and is excited to serve the children of her community! Jordan received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Gannon University followed by her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Virginia. She has experience working as a SLP in private practice, public schools, as well as an Early Intervention. Jordan has performed diagnosis and treatment for toddlers, pre-school, and school-aged children in receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation, phonological processing, and social (pragmatic) language, with a special interest in fluency and apraxia. She is well versed in individual and group therapy , including AAC devices. Jordan is currently receiving her certification in myofunctional therapy. In her free time, Jordan enjoys hiking with her husband, daughter and husky, traveling, and going to the beach with family and friends.

Tzu-Yu Claire Huang, M.Ed., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist

Claire holds a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Virginia. As a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist, she is passionate about helping children develop their communication skills. She has experience evaluating and working with children from preschool to middle school age, treating expressive/receptive language disorders, phonological disorders, articulation disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, and fluency disorders. Claire also has experience evaluating clients’ needs for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, as well as coaching families on how to utilize the devices at home to best support clients. She believes strongly in empowering children to find their voice through multimodal communication methods, providing them with the tools they need to express themselves effectively. In her free time, she enjoys playing the violin, reading, playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family.

Shauna Stoyanoff, M.Ed., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist

Shauna is a Wyoming native and attended the University of Wyoming for her Bachelor of Science degree in the area of Communication Science and Disorders with a minor in Audiology and Psychology, followed by her Master of Arts degree at Hampton University in the area of Communication Science and Disorders. Shauna has performed diagnosis and treatment of adults, toddlers, pre-school, and school-aged children for 21 years and is well versed in both individual and group therapy settings in the areas of language disorders, autism, AAC, childhood apraxia, phonological processing, and fluency. With special interests in social communication and apraxia. When she is not working, she loves to spend time with her three boys and husband, going to the beach with her family and friends, and traveling.

Missy Bogle
Reading Specialist

Missy graduated from Old Dominion University with a BS in Education and a Masters Degree in Reading. She enjoyed teaching elementary grades 1,2 & 4 before returning to graduate school and earning a certification in Reading Recovery. In addition, Missy is a Title I reading teacher who finds great satisfaction in her student’s achievements. ” I’ve been blessed to work with children needing extra help in reading for many years. Each child had different needs. My goal is to teach them the strategies and skills they need to become independent readers and writers. I love watching children beam when they realize they are now readers and can share their stories with others”. Missy lives in Virginia Beach with her husband and her two dogs that go everywhere with them!

Sue Crigger

Sue has enjoyed working with grades K-12 in a variety of capacities over the past 18 years. Her true passion is helping students become successful, independent learners. Sue evaluates the student from an academic, cognitive, and emotional perspective. She empowers students to discover, learn and practice strategies which improve academic abilities, develop advanced reasoning, and strengthen study work habits. Therapies include remedial reading, writing, spelling and overall academic skill programs for students with learning challenges. Additionally, Sue provides coordination with families and schools, creating long term plans for remedial accommodations for students. In her free time, Sue enjoys socializing and traveling with family & friends. Sue lives in Virginia Beach with her husband and two children.

Colleen Delaney
PhD, RDN
Nutritionist

Colleen is a dedicated public health nutritionist and researcher. She is committed to improving maternal and child nutrition, with a deep passion for advancing health outcomes and creating impactful solutions to pressing nutrition-related challenges. Colleen is a lifelong learner, and as a mother herself, enjoys learning about child development, maternal and child health and nutrition. Colleen loves sharing her valuable insights with you on our Parent Page! In her spare time, she enjoys exploring nature with her family, drawing, listening to music and dancing.

Kristin Pomponio
M.Ed. Reading, Writing, and Spelling Tutor

Kristin is originally from Philadelphia, PA where she attended Temple University. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and Master’s degree in special education with a concentration in autism spectrum disorders. Kristin currently works at Bayside Elementary as a 1st grade inclusion teacher. Kristin has also worked as a private tutor for reading and writing instruction. Kristin has her certification in LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers in Reading and Spelling) and provides reading instruction using the science of reading. In her free time, Kristin enjoys running and going for walks with her dog, Miles.

Camille Delaney
M.A. Ed./Director

Camille is a graduate of George Washington University. She has spent a lifetime working in training & development, for a variety of corporations as well as private companies. Volunteer coaching of elementary to high school teams has been a joy and passion in her life. Camille & her husband have 2 wonderful adult daughters and an awesome son-in-law who (fortunately) also live in Virginia Beach! Camille looks forward to bringing the services of Coastal Therapy Group to the Tidewater/ Hampton Roads Area!

Rebecca Anne Mason
Administrative Assistant

Rebecca is the smiling face you first see as you enter Coastal Therapy! She has been living in Virginia Beach since October 2021 when her husband received orders to the Norfolk Naval Base. Prior to working in Virginia Beach, Rebecca was an administrative assistant at a mental health practice in California. She has a big family back home, and loves kids!
Rebecca loves to cook and check out new beaches while getting to know the Virginia Beach area. She especially enjoys spending time with her husband and friends while exploring her new home! Rebecca loves that Coastal Therapy is an independently owned, pediatric office & we love that she keeps us all in line!

Colleen has a special interest in children’s nutrition and enjoys sharing her insights with you on our Parent Page! She lives in New Jersey with her husband and real life food test pilot – 2 year old-Dax!
